expansion

It always happens unexpectedly.

One day, you wake up and something has shifted. You see yourself more clearly, and deep down, you know that it’s time. Time to move on. Time to expand.

And yet, with that knowing comes fear. Guilt for wanting more. That familiar whisper of impostor syndrome: Who am I to shine more? To grow more?

But maybe the real question is: Who am I not to?

Healing is never linear. It’s a lifelong journey of ups and downs, of evolving through our experiences, relationships, and environment. It doesn’t end, it deepens. And real healing happens in the present moment, in all its complexity. So the question becomes simple: How do I want to feel today?

At some point, you’ll feel it, that expansion. It doesn’t mean you’re done working on yourself. It means you’re done repeating the same lessons. You’ve outgrown your old container. And now, it’s time to step into something bigger… or maybe to step out of the box entirely.

Expansion is uncomfortable. It asks you to trust yourself, to write your own story, to take up space. It feels like a rush of excitement and fear all at once. But expansion alone isn’t enough. It must be followed by commitment. Otherwise, dreams remain just that, unlived, untouched, waiting.

We’re already halfway through the year. For many, things still feel uncertain, heavy, unclear. But if you bring your focus back to yourself, one aligned step at a time, you begin to move differently. You begin to think for yourself, not through the noise of the outside world.

We often wait, for others to change, for life to improve, for someone to do the work for us. But your vision is yours for a reason. And it takes courage to honor it.

The people you admire didn’t just get lucky. They chose themselves. Again and again. They didn’t wait for a miracle. They became it.

You are the miracle. You are the expansion.

So if your life isn’t reflecting what you want, ask yourself honestly: Why am I staying?

There is always a form of comfort, even in discomfort. The real question is, are you choosing a familiar hell or an unknown paradise?

Come back to yourself. To your desires. To your truth. Stop shrinking, stop doubting, stop waiting. Be the person you already feel inside.

Because it’s all within you.

On a personal note, after 12 years of hosting workshops in NYC, I’ve decided to pause and turn toward something new.

I’ve changed. I’ve expanded. And this next chapter is calling me toward a more intimate, personal way of working, creating, and healing, alongside the writing of my next book.

Looking back, I see the woman I was 12 years ago, arriving in New York with no clear plan, just a deep desire to help. Sending emails to healing centers, receiving many “no’s” (and many silences)… until one “yes” changed everything.

My heart is full of gratitude, for the spaces that welcomed me, and for all of you who trusted me along the way.

I believe in healing. I believe in love. I believe in second chances. And I believe your past does not define you, unless you let it.

We may not choose the cards we’re given at the beginning. But as adults, we decide how to play them.

That is your power.

My private practice remains open, online and in person in Miami, offering one-on-one sessions, family constellations, and endobiogeny.

And as I continue expanding, I carry you all with me.

Twelve years with you… and many more to come.

With love,
Marine Sélénée
