To be seen

Yesterday marked my last workshop of the year, and as I often say, there’s always at least one common thread connecting everyone in the room. This time, it was all about being seen and seeing the truth for what it is, and for what it was.

No need to force a story, justify, or explain. Just feeling the feelings. Simply saying, “I wanted to be loved,” without adding, “because they did this or that.” The behavior doesn’t matter, what matters is honoring your emotions. That’s where healing begins.

There’s real power in seeing, in recognizing and facing the truth that maybe, right now, you’re not okay. You might feel empty, sad, or lost. And that’s okay. This moment doesn’t define your life; it’s just where you are right now.

So stop pretending. Stop being strong just because those around you can’t handle your vulnerability. You are already perfect, exactly as you are.

With love,
Marine Sélénée
