I need you

The past weekend I hosted a Family Constellations workshop and the theme of the day was reconnecting with and respecting the masculine.

One of the participants said to the masculine “But, I need you.” And, the masculine replied “Me too.”

We all want the same thing and most of the time, we project on to each other our needs and expectations.

In this constellation, she needed the masculine in a certain way without listening to him and his own needs in hopes that the masculine was going to give her all his attention, like a father. As a young girl, she had a lack of attention coming from her father and so with her current husband, the situation got subconsciously replayed. In her case, the distance between her and the masculine created anger which was causing inflammation that was showing up through breakouts on her face.

The lower part of your face represents the feminine, the upper part the masculine, and the nose is the bridge between them both. Whatever is going on within might be seen on your face, or through any other tensions in your body. Of course, a physical cause can be part of the issue, but never forget that it’s always an emotional root cause first and that’s why it is so vital and important to work with a combination of holistic and Western medicine.

Going back to her constellation, we did reconcile the masculine and feminine together and she ended up being squeezed by both her sides with a big smile on her face.

Much Love,
