the complexity of emotions

The complexity of emotions and how our bodies react to trauma or difficult challenges is fascinating. A few days ago, I had an epiphany. I work out every day because I enjoy it, and it’s also part of my well-being routine—it helps me give my best to my clients without holding onto their energies.

But the truth is, I need to work my muscles every day because I don’t naturally hold onto them—I often deprive and exhaust myself. And then it hit me: muscles are what hold our entire body together, like the masculine. Think of it like a vase: the vase is the masculine, and everything inside it—water, flowers—is the feminine.

I couldn’t help but make a connection: maybe for women with “loose” skin, part of it is linked to not trusting the masculine, not leaning on it, not allowing it to support us. Our psyche leaves its imprint on our bodies.

I’m just sharing a thought, not claiming it’s absolute truth—because there isn’t one. But if it resonates with you, maybe take a moment to explore your relationship with the masculine. What happened? At what age?

If you’d like to go deeper, I’m here. Whether through therapy or Endobiogeny, both modalities can help you heal from the past and become the woman or man you’ve been longing to be.

With love,
Marine Sélénée
