compassion

Compassion for your journey. Compassion for who you are. Compassion for where you are. Compassion for others. Having compassion is a noble feeling. You might not understand everything about a person but you can look at them with complete acceptance and respect.

For the opposite, having pity always implies a judgment dynamic. You are looking at this person as the victim of their life while actually, they are the one responsible for it. Pity never goes anywhere. It is not even empowering to have pity for others as you dismiss their true essence as being whole and perfect as they are.

For whom, do you have compassion? For whom do you have pity? And, what about you? Do you look at yourself with love and compassion? Or, do you look at yourself with anger and pity?

How is your relationship with your inner child and younger selves? Are you still at war with a few of them? Are you still thinking that they should've done better? If so, that internal fight might also create blockages with others. Why not taking a first step at reconnecting with your inner child? You could take my course, Inner Child or also book a session to see where you are at. We can discover together if there is a need for deeper healing in order for you to have compassion for who you were then and who you are now.

Always remember that how you feel with others is only a clear indication on how you feel with yourself, at that moment. If you feel angry, frustrated, envious, sad with others, my recommendation would be to first, acknowledge those feelings towards you. We are only projections. We are only mirrors between each other. Some of us will push away the experience of seeing themselves in others, while others will be keen to grow together. That's the power of communication and so relationships.

When we finally understand that the other one has nothing to do with us, that their reactions and perceptions are — most of the time — only based on their own story, Life becomes easier to experience. This is liberating, as you stop trying to exist through the look of someone else and start existing for you. As a matter of fact, in that moment your light will shine brighter, your face will become lighter, and your entire self will feel illuminated and at peace.

On a personal note, I've been creating new offers and services for my practice. I finally took the leap to launch my podcast, Tell Me Your Story. I'm collaborating with amazing women in order to give birth to my first One Day retreat, The Empress Retreat and hopefully in 2025, it will become a 7-day retreat. There is also the blossom of another retreat with my friend Whitney, combining the power of Somatic Work + Family Constellations. And last but not least, I've decided to offer my skills to women on their motherhood journey as it is very dear to my heart.

Much Love,
