Emerge Anew

March 31, 2019

Spring is here.

I love spring and I also adore the meaning of it: Rebirthing, Emerging, Coming to the surface, Awakening.

Mother Nature sprouts up, temperatures are warmer, and we can see bigger smiles on our faces.

Life is more pleasant. Or, at least it feels like it.

Are you feeling that renewal of energy?

Are you part of your awakening?

Are you having aha moments while shedding your ‘winter’ skin?

Are you experiencing lightness in your body and mind?

Are you seeing the light at the end of the tunnel?

Spring is hope. Spring is the beginning of my new year. I’ve never connected January 1st with a new beginning, a new chapter. For me, it starts with the first zodiac sign, Aries. Firing up! Doing it! Getting a move on and let’s see what will unfold.

It’s exciting. It’s refreshing. It’s stimulating.

It’s the same feeling after a long and intense period.

It’s the same feeling after one dedicated year of working on us.

It’s the same feeling after holding our breath.

It’s the same feeling after a deep healing.

It’s the same feeling after finally getting a “YES” to a project that we really wanted to happen.

It’s surrendering.

Surrendering to a new season. Feeling empowered by it. Acknowledging that Life is only an eternal renewal and with every new season, new month, and New Year we can emerge anew. Nothing lasts forever but anything that’s meant to be part of our life will find a new way to come back as a more vibrant, alive and committed purpose.

So, do not worry. We take it as rejection while it’s only a redirection.

A redirection that will give us the opportunity to become clearer, to own our vision, to define what is really important or not.

And, in that redirection, maybe you will be led to meet new people that will help you emerge anew.

The saying goes: “It takes a village to raise a child.” I also think that it takes a village to heal, and being with the same and only therapist (psychologist, healer, you name it) for 10 years can be more of a co-dependency routine than an efficient one.

Think about it, ten years ago why did you see that person at first? And now, at that moment are you still dealing with the same trauma? Event? Story? Normally, it should be a “No”! But, if it’s still a “Yes”, what are you afraid of seeing? Of doing? Why that resistance to life? To move on?

As I always say, the most difficult part in healing is when resistance takes its place, most of the time it’s at the end of a deep work, when we know, when we feel that we are ready. Ready to spread our wings because finally our primary foundation is strong enough to support us. But, yes it can be scary.

For that reason, I like that affirmation: “I give myself permission to ….” Fill up the blank and repeat it every day until you make it fully yours.

It’s Spring. It’s time to emerge anew. And, if you don’t feel it for that year, it’s fine too. Spring will be back soon.

An eternal renewal.
